Please Note: All quilting classes welcome all skill levels unless otherwise noted on an individual class. KMIS strongly encourages all students without quilting experience to begin by taking Beginning Quilting prior to taking any specialty classes.

Beginning Machine Quilting
This is the total quilting workshop for beginners. Learn to master techniques such as rotary cutting, strip piecing, getting perfect points, making the quilt sandwich, basic machine quilting, and binding. You will complete the quilt within the 4 sessions with guidance from your teacher. KMIS will be gladly assist in selecting fabrics for your new quilt. (This should be done a day or so prior to class.) The final product is a lovely quilt that looks much more difficult than it really is.

Angels Above Appliqué
Angels Above is an appliqué quilt designed for your embroidery machine. Six musical angels play amongst the stars in their finest fashions. Angels Above is made of six angel blocks, star blocks in three sizes and a series of blocks made up of 2" finished squares.

Six Hour Serger Quilt
This quilt is very quick, durable, and useable. A medium sized quilt can be finished in 6 hours. It is reversible, and is sewn and quilted at the same time. You can use your serger or your sewing machine to complete the quilt. This is a great pattern to be used to make charity quilts.

Workbook is a class designed to teach machine owners how to maximize the use of a machine. Workbook classes are specific to particular machines and are available free of charge to those who purchase their machine at Keep Me In Stitches. For those who purchase their machine at another store, there is a fee of $250.

In order to provide direct instruction, class size is limited. Please call in advance to reserve a space in a class.
