There are three different sections to these placemats utilizing different serger or coverstitch techniques on each section. We will be making pin tucks, flat lock WAVE stitch, decorative cover stitch, piping, strip piecing, and binding.

Make this 14 x 14 inch square decorator pillow that has decorative cover stitching on the front with contrasting piping. There is a zipper opening on the back – your choice of an exposed zipper or a zipper with a zipper flap. Also make the beautiful burlap flower with the delicate beaded flower stamens on the serger!
This is a beautiful 9” x 12” 3D wall hanging celebrating the flowers of Spring and sewing the seeds of knowledge. Techniques we will be using include: 3-Thread and 4-Thread Overlock; Turning corners; Inserting Gimp; Rolled Wave Stitch; Serger Crochet; Gathering.
