Specials, Clearance, and Facelifts

Have you been in either of our stores lately? Over the last few months they’ve both received a facelift! It’s always nice to move things around and give our spaces a fresh look. This time, we did a little more than that…and we love the results!
TAMPA
Between Thanksgiving and Christmas, the Tampa Store got a new BERNINA display area. Getting it here and set up was a team effort involving an overnight road trip, several days of moving things, installation, and rearranging the store. It looks amazing, and it fits in the corner so well it looks like it’s always been there.
In making room for the new display, everything in that corner of the store had to be moved. Kelly and Malya took charge and moved everything…and we mean everything! Threads, notions, embroidery designs, and even the fabric and fat quarter shelves. The time and planning paid off with a new look and feel in the store just in time for the new year.

It took a village, er, the whole team to get 'er done.

CLEARWATER
When the Tampa store finished the installation and overhaul, Team Clearwater took on a small “DE-construction” project. We’ve always felt a bit…cramped back by the cutting table, thanks to that wall that created the fat quarter nook. Just after the New Year, a plan was formed.
To open up the space, the partial wall that separated the fat quarter area from the fabric was removed. WOW! The difference is night and day. It’s now so open and inviting now that it’s a pleasure to take fabric to the cutting table! Allen, Darcie and Mike did a great job de-constructing, moving, shifting and getting it just perfect. (Mike really is a jack of all trades, and no worries, out projects didn’t take time away from servicing machines!)
